Dilemma Cards

In English and Hebrew, these cards introduce each of the eleven controversial topics explored in this activity, including Brexit, granting asylum to refugees, and the Disengagement. In Stage 3 of the activity, the participants will be divided into small groups. Each group will research the topic they have been assigned and prepare a short speech presenting one side of the dilemma. A representative of each group will present the speech, after which the entire group will debate the topic and vote if they are “for” or “against.” This is the main portion of the activity, and an opportunity for participants to learn more about the complex social, moral and political dilemmas that leaders have faced throughout history.
